ND Cosmetic Injector
My Approach To Cosmetic Injections
As a cosmetic injector, I take a holistic, evidence-based approach that aligns with my ND practice. While I don’t believe anyone needs cosmetic injections, I do believe that the choice is yours if you’d like them and that it is my job to provide you with all the information you need to make an educated decision.
Cosmetic Treatments

Neuromodulators (Botox)
By temporarily preventing targeted muscles from contracting with neuromodulators, we are able to reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles and prevent static wrinkles from forming. There are several different brands of botox to choose from: Botox® Cosmetic, Nuceiva™, Xeomin® and Dysport®.

Dermal Filler
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) dermal fillers smooth wrinkles, add volume and enhance facial contours. I trust and use Revanesse® fillers with my patients because its the only cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler that is Canadian made.

Skinboosters™
Skinboosters™ are an HA injectable that work to restore the natural composition of your skin by increasing elasticity and improve texture gradually.

Sculptra®
Unlike traditional dermal fillers that provide immediate results, Sculptra® takes a gradual approach, subtly enhancing the skin’s appearance over time as the body generates new collagen.
Patient Transformations
With the plethora of cosmetic treatments available today, it can be easy to become overwhelmed by your options. I am proud to offer my patients everything from neuromodulators (botox), dermal fillers, Restylane® Skinboosters™ and Sculptra®, which can be mixed and matched to create your optimal treatment plan. During your complimentary consultation, I’ll work with you to determine the best treatment options for your areas of concern, lifestyle and budget.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect during my appointment?
Whether you are coming to see me for botox (Dysport), dermal filler, Sculptra® or Restylane® Skinboosters™, you can expect your treatment to start with a consultation.
Once you understand your treatment options and decide whether you're comfortable to move ahead with the actual treatment, I will clean the treatment area and begin mapping out your injection points using a skin-safe pencil. The actual injection process of your treatment is quite quick (depending on how many areas are being treated).
After reviewing your aftercare instructions, you'll be ready to get on with the rest of your day. For those who experience needle anxiety, please reach out to me prior to your treatment if possible—I like to leave some extra time for recovery and to ensure you're completely comfortable.
Are cosmetic injection consultations free?
Yes! I offer complimentary consultations to all my cosmetic injection patients in order to ensure we are on the same page. If you are uncomfortable with the suggested treatment plan or simply need more time to consider your options, you are never pressured to move ahead with the treatment.
Do I need a half or full syringe of lip filler?
It is so important that we build lip filler slowly to avoid filler migration and maintain the integrity of your lip structure. I typically start with a half syringe of lip filler for anyone that is new to the treatment. This allows us to build up the vermillion border of the lip and ensure that when additional volume is added, it sits correctly. That being said, this may vary based on each individual and will be determined during your consultation with me.
How much will my treatment cost?
Each treatment with me is completely personalized to the individual. That means, providing an accurate quote prior to our consultation very difficult. This is one of the many reasons, I offer complimentary cosmetic injection consultations. After hearing your concerns and evaluating your facial anatomy, I'll be able to provide treatment recommendations, including product amount and pricing. There is never any pressure to move ahead with the treatment.
Do botox and filler injections hurt?
It's normal to be nervous. Every treatment with me begins with a consultation. I encourage you to ask all your questions and to let me know any of your concerns for the treatment itself. A topical numbing cream can be applied to help with any discomfort and there are several ways we can adjust your experience to help ease any anxieties you may have surrounding the procedure.
What's the difference between a lip flip and filler filler?
What's the difference between static and dynamic wrinkles?
Dynamic wrinkles appear when we use our facial muscles to form expressions, like when we're smiling, frowning, or squinting (frown lines, crow's feet, or forehead lines). But what happens when these wrinkles remain even when your face is at rest? They transition into what we call static wrinkles.
Static wrinkles are lines that are visible even when our face is in a neutral or relaxed state. This transition happens over time, largely due to the natural aging process and environmental factors like sun exposure.
Depending on the results they'd like to see, patients may require both botox (for dynamic wrinkles) and dermal filler (for static wrinkles). For recommendations specific to you, please book in your complimentary consultation at one of my five locations
Can I treat just my upper lip?
Yes! Most people experience lip asymmetry with their upper lip naturally being smaller. And as you age and natural collagen production decreases (along with hyaluronic acid and elastin), the additional loss of volume is also known to cause a thin upper lip. When patients come to me for lip filler, it's not always about adding volume, especially not to both the upper and lower lips.
What type of dermal filler do I need?
When it comes to dermal fillers, you have options. There are constantly new formulas entering the market and it's important to do you research before choosing what's best for you. I trust and use Revanesse® hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers with my patients because its the only cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler that is Canadian made. The formulas' sophical shape particles allow the formula to be better accepted by the body, which means a lower rate of swelling and slower breakdown of the particulars (longer lasting results). Under the Revanesse® there are several different formulas, each unique in their benefits:
Revanesse® Kiss – To define and augment the lips and surrounding area. This is a smooth, soft gel engineered to shape and volumize the lips and perioral region.
Revanesse® Ultra – To treat mid-to deep lines and wrinkles, as well as fill medium volume areas (for example, the nasolabial folds and marionettes). This is a high viscosity formula so it also great for adding more structure to the lip’s vermillion border.
Revanesse® Contour – To treat large volume areas (for example, the jawline or temples) as well as shape and contour the facial features (for example, the chin or cheeks).
Revanesse® Shape – To sculpt and volumize deep tissue areas such as the cheeks, chin, jawline, and vermillion border. This is the line’s highest viscosity hyaluronic acid (HA) gel.
If you're sitting there still confused about which filler you need, do not stress! With over seven years of injecting experience and training, it is my responsibility as your cosmetic injector to provide you with the best treatment plan based on my expertise. Every appointment with me begins with a consultation to ensure you feel 100 percent comfortable with the treatment plan.
How long does botox last?
Botox lasts three to four months. How many times have you heard this statement? While it is true, I think there is a huge misconception that your neuromodulator results will kick in and remain the same for those three to four months. That is just not the case. Your botox results follow a curved line on a graph. Here’s what to actually expect:
Week 1 | Your botox results are not fully visible for these first few days and will likely still experience movement.
Week 2 | Your botox results are at their most intense/tightest.
Week 6 | This is when your botox results are at their best (in my opinion). They have settled and look the most natural.
Week 12 | Your results have been slowly diminishing, but you’ll likely not have full movement back yet. Time to think about rebooking.
