Dr. Kaleb Falk offers virtual Naturopathic care for BC residents, with a special focus on gut health (IBS and SIBO), hormone health and general health optimization. New patients are welcome to experience flexible scheduling and healing from the comfort of your own home.
Hello! I’m Dr. Kaleb Falk, a Naturopathic Doctor based in Kamloops, but offering comprehensive evidence-based support to patients across BC virtually.
Over the last 12 years, my practice has taught me that for most people, the biggest barrier to living in their optimal health is not willingness, but logistics. Between work, family, distance, and limited clinics in rural areas, finding consistent and personalized healthcare can be a challenge. My mission as a Naturopathic Doctor is to remove as many barriers as possible standing in the way of British Columbians living in accessing the comprehensive, individualized health care they need. To do this, I see patients in person weekly at Total Health Clinic in Kamloops, but also offer virtual care to patients across BC. Click here to book your virtual initial visit.
Dr. Kaleb Falk, ND | Your Naturopathic Doctor in BC
I’ve always been a bit of a perpetual learner when it comes to health optimization. During my time at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, that curiosity naturally pulled me toward the intersection of medicine, performance, and recovery. I even helped found the Sports Medicine Committee and served as its first president, long before I realized how central those themes would become in my clinical work.
Since, I’ve built my practice around therapies that deliver measurable results. My training includes advanced certificates in heavy metal chelation, hormone replacement therapy, prolotherapy and PRP, ozone and oxidative therapies, IV nutrient therapy, neural therapy/trigger point injections, as well as, holding medical prescribing authority.
I have also introduced (and am continually training) in botox and dermal fillers to my practice as I truly believe in taking a holistic approach to every individual—how you feel, your confidence impacts how you show up in the world. Though I don’t believe anyone needs botox and filler, if I can help individuals feel more confident in their skin with natural-looking cosmetic injections, I am happy to do that.
I am a former faculty instructor at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Vancouver and at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. I am also a former executive board member with the BC Naturopathic Association (BCND).
I am also a founding member of SIBO Doctors, an educational platform dedicated to helping patients understand the root causes of IBS and Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). The site supports patients by providing clear, evidence-informed education and by helping them find qualified Naturopathic Physicians who can test, diagnose, and treat SIBO.
I am a member in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC), the BC Naturopathic Association, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
I write this not for your eyes to glaze over or to boost my own credentials, but because it is so important that you are confident in the provider you choose. Do your research, don’t hesitate to ask questions and keep lines of communication open.

The Benefits of Naturopathic Medicine in BC | How It Works
I provide naturopathic medicine in British Columbia with a patient-centred, root-cause approach that combines evidence-informed care with the flexibility of secure virtual appointments across the province. Your well-being shouldn’t depend on your postal code. Whether you’re in Kamloops, Kelowna, Chilliwack, Vancouver, or on Vancouver Island, I can provide you Naturopathic support virtually anywhere in British Columbia. No commute, no limitations and no missed appointments when life becomes busy. If you move, travel, or just prefer taking your appointments from the comfort of your home, your care moves with you. While in-clinic services such as IV therapy and iron infusions will not be available to my virtual patients for obvious reasons, we can still do all the required lab testing with requisitions sent to a convenient lab near you or ship specific tests straight to your door.
You can book in-person or virtual naturopathic appointments online through the Total Health Clinic booking page, or request a complimentary 15-minute consultation by phone or email to see if we’re a good fit. During this introductory consultation, I’ll share more about my background and approach, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about virtual care and how naturopathic medicine can support your health goals. If you decide to move forward, I’ll send secure intake and consent forms through an encrypted link, which should be completed at least 48 hours before your first appointment. Your initial 60-minute virtual consultation, conducted by video or phone, includes a comprehensive health assessment where we review your medical history, current concerns, supplements, and any recent lab or diagnostic results. Following this visit, I create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals, which may include clinical nutrition, lifestyle recommendations, targeted supplementation, and functional testing.
When lab work is needed, I can ship at-home test kits or send requisitions to a certified local laboratory, making care convenient whether you live in Kamloops, Victoria, Chilliwack, Prince George, or elsewhere in BC. Regular virtual follow-up appointments help keep your progress on track, with visits typically scheduled within one to four weeks depending on your needs. All virtual visits follow the Telemedicine Practice Standard of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) and use secure, PIPEDA-compliant technology with informed consent and identity verification to ensure the same professional standard of care as in-clinic visits.

FAQs
Looking for a virtual Naturopathic Doctor in British Columbia? Here are your most commonly asked questions, answered.
Q: Can I see a virtual Naturopathic Doctor from anywhere in BC?
Yes! You don’t need to be local. As long as you’re in BC, I can support you virtually. All of my virtual appointments are conducted through secure video on JaneApp.
Q: Can Naturopathic Doctors in BC order lab tests remotely?
Yes. I can order most lab tests virtually, including hormone panels, iron studies, and food sensitivity tests. You’ll either receive an at-home test kit or a requisition for your local lab. Once your results are in, we’ll review them together, discuss what they mean for your health, and create a clear, personalized plan based on your findings.
Q: Are online naturopathic appointments covered in BC?
In British Columbia, Naturopathic Doctors are not covered under regular MSP. However, naturopathic care is commonly covered through extended health benefit plans offered by employers or third-party insurers. The most common providers include Sun Life, Manulife, and Canada Life.
If your extended health plan includes naturopathic services, online or virtual appointments are typically covered as well. Coverage can vary by plan, so it’s always best to confirm the details directly with your insurance provider.
Q: Is IV therapy covered?
IV therapy is so powerful for boosting your health. By delivering nutrients directly into your bloodstream, it helps your body absorb them quickly and efficiently. It’s perfect for giving your energy a lift, supporting your immune system, improving hydration, and filling in any vitamin or mineral gaps. But, will your insurance cover the cost? Well, the answer is: possibly! While IV therapy is generally not covered by the Medical Services Plan (MSP), if your insurance plan includes Naturopathic services, there’s a good chance IV therapy could be covered. I always recommend checking with your insurance provider. Our team Total Health Clinic is always happy to help you navigate this and answer any questions you may have about direct billing.

Q: How secure are virtual naturopathic appointments?
All visits follow the Telemedicine Practice Standard of the CCHPBC, including informed consent, secure technology, and identity verification. Virtual visits are conducted through encrypted, privacy-compliant platforms such as JaneApp, in accordance with Canadian PIPEDA privacy standards. Your data is safely stored and accessible only to authorized healthcare staff.
Q: When should I book an in-person naturopathic visit instead of virtual care?
Hands-on treatments such as IV therapy or PRP injections are performed in person at Total Health Clinic, Kamloops. For general health concerns, lab testing, and treatment planning, virtual visits are equally effective.
Q: Can I complete lab work before my first virtual naturopathic appointment?
It’s best to wait until after your initial consultation so we can order the right tests for your specific symptoms. If you already have recent lab results, you can upload or share them before your appointment for review.
Q: What does Dr. Kaleb Falk’s Naturopathic practice focus on?
My practice is centred on digestive health, particularly Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). For more than a decade I’ve been diagnosing and treating SIBO, and I have helped hundreds of patients optimize their gut health. I focus on finding and addressing the root cause of your symptoms; research shows that treating SIBO often resolves IBS, since up to 84% of IBS cases test positive for SIBO. Beyond gut health, I provide comprehensive naturopathic care—including targeted testing, IV therapies, regenerative injections and hormone or heavy‑metal evaluations—so each treatment plan is tailored to your specific needs. My goal is to listen carefully, educate you about your condition and guide you toward long‑term wellness.
