Plus, the shorter days can lead to reduced sunlight exposure, which may decrease our vitamin D levels. Vitamin D is so important to immune function, so lower levels can leave us more vulnerable to infections. This concoction of factors makes it easy to see why we’re more likely to get sick during colder months!

 

How do I know if I have the flu or a cold?
